Following two preliminary budget workshops, the city of Pflugerville will present its fiscal year 2025-26 budget at a City Council work session and subsequent meeting Aug. 12. The new fiscal year begins Oct. 1, when the adopted tax rate will go into effect.
What residents need to know
Residents can learn about the proposed budget beginning at 5 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Pflugerville Justice Center. The upcoming budget presentation will discuss the proposed tax rate, city priorities and total projected expenditures.
This presentation follows two budget workshops in June and July, in which city staff reviewed budget preparations and assumptions, as well as proposed updated utility fees and fee schedules.
