During a special called meeting April 9, Amy Madison, executive director of the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation, announced plans for retirement after over a decade serving the city of Pflugerville.
The impact
“When I think about the orders of magnitude our city has grown in the past 10 years, Amy Madison has always been front and center, leading us to prosperity,” PCDC President Jeff Thompson said in a news release. “She was the driving force that generated thousands of new local jobs and attracted over $1 billion in investment for Pflugerville. Her professionalism, foresight and tenacity have profoundly impacted our community and region, leaving a strong and vibrant foundation on which to build the next chapter of Pflugerville.”
Madison’s efforts over the past decade led to the recruitment or expansion of 76 projects, 9.3 million square feet of development and 7,076 new full-time jobs, according to a 2023 report conducted by Impact DataSource, an economic research and consulting firm.
