In an early morning video released to social media Aug. 22, Kirk Thompson, owner and operator of the Chick-fil-A location at 18617 Limestone Commercial Drive, Pflugerville, in the Stone Hill Town Center, stated the restaurant is temporarily halting some services due to staffing issues.
"I wanted to bring you up to speed on a current staffing crisis that we are experiencing at our restaurant," Thompson said. "We've felt over the last several weeks, we at times have had difficulty staffing our store to meet the service levels that are required."
Thompson said as of Aug. 23, his Chick-fil-A location is closing its dining room and curbside service. Thompson did not specify when the services will return but added the actions taken will allow drive-thru service at the restaurant to continue as well as deliveries through the Chick-fil-A mobile app and third-party delivery partners.
"We sincerely want you to know that we care about your business, and we're doing everything that we can to overcome this current staffing challenge that we're faced with," Thompson said, adding persons interested in a job at Chick-fil-A may apply at www.cfatalent.com.
