Pflugerville City Council approved the city's Community Development Block Grant annual action plan for the 2022 program year at a July 26 meeting.
Through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, the CDBG program provides eligible communities with annual grants that can be used for programs that help low- to moderate-income residents.
Pflugerville became eligible for the program in 2013. The city's five-year consolidated plan identifies infrastructure and community service as its two top priorities for CDBG funding.
For the 2022 program year, Pflugerville received an allocation of $243,926. The annual action plan approved July 26 establishes how the funding will be spent.
