Additional funds from the CARES ACT for the city of Pflugerville's 2020 Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant program were granted to the city March 3.
The funds will be used for a utility bill assistance program designed to help low- to moderate-income Pflugerville residents who receive water, wastewater or trash service through the city and who have been adversely affected by the pandemic, according to a city news release.
Funds can go towards three consecutive months of utility payments within a 12-month period. The program will be open as long as funding is available.
Pflugerville residents can apply through a city survey.
