Typhoon Texas Waterpark Austin and Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery took the top spots for businesses of the year at the 2023 Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce Awards held at the Courtyard by Marriott Austin Pflugerville and Pflugerville Conference Center.
The Small Business of the Year award went to Cook Walden, which has operated in Pflugerville for the last 26 years.
Located on the western edge of the city, Cook-Walden has been in business since 1997, and Richard Davis accepted the award from Pflugerville Chamber CEO Kristen Cepak, who took head position two months prior on Jan. 2.
"Since 1997, Cook-Walden has been an outstanding member of the Pflugerville Chamber," Cepak said.
