Pearland City Council voted to award a construction contract for $1.6 million to Tandem Services for the Halik Street reconstruction project at the July 12 meeting.
The contract is for Phase 3 of the project and will fund drainage improvements from Halik to Rice Drier Road as well as reconstructing Halik.
The project is funded by the Pearland Economic Development Corp. and will cost $1.6 million.
