Switzerland-based pharmaceutical and biotech company Lonza Houston Inc. announced plans in late September to more than double its footprint at its Pearland facility, which is still under construction. Lonza inked a deal for a 100,000-squarefoot facility in Pearland’s Lower Kirby Urban Center in 2015. The new 150,000-square-foot addition to the original plan will be phase 2 of Lonza’s commercial construction project, and will include offices, laboratories and manufacturing space. www.lonza.com
