Outdoor recreation retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods hosted its grand opening celebration from April 21-23 at the Pearland Town Center, 11200 W. Broadway St., Pearland, with celebrity appearances from two former Houston Texans players, wide receiver Andre Johnson and former forward Robert Horry. The sporting goods store sells footwear, apparel, accessories, electronics, and outdoor and travel equipment. The retailer opened a Friendswood location near Baybrook Mall along with two specialty shops, Golf Galaxy and Field & Stream, which are owned by Dick’s. dicks.com/pearland
