Owner Kim Oravetz will open Red Oak Cafe in late September at 6011 W. Main St., Ste. A106, League City. The restaurant is projected to open Sept. 29 pending final inspections. Oravetz formerly owned Texas Tea Room in Friendswood and will offer the same menu with some additions. Red Oak will feature homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and favorites, such as chicken pot pie.
