The Lone Star Flight Museum will close its doors on July 15 after 27 years in Galveston. The museum along with the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame will be relocated to a $38 million, 130,000-square-foot facility at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base, 11210 Blume Avenue, Houston. The museum will reopen to the public at its new location on Labor Day weekend Sept. 2. The museum will have an aviation learning center and hands-on exhibits. 409-740-7722. www.lonestarflight.org
