West Parkwood Place, a new professional and retail center, is under construction at 1501 W. Parkwood Ave., Friendswood. The two-phase project will include two 10,000-square-foot, single-story buildings. The first building has an estimated completion date of Nov. 19. After it is leased, construction will begin on the second phase. Estimated to open in December, Rush Cycle and Power Fit Meals have agreed to lease 2,000 square feet each. 832-687-6446.
