Koster Road in Alvin is undergoing road repairs and will be closed this week.

Koster Road will be closed to through traffic between Glenview Drive and FM 1462 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. from March 2 through March 5, according to a social media post from the city.
The city is repairing the road due to a base failure underneath the asphalt, which created potholes and caused the street to be uneven, Communications Manager Athlyn Roberts said.
