Pearland City Council approved a permit for a planned tattoo studio at its Oct. 12 meeting, allowing the business to operate in an existing commercial space along Broadway Street.
What you need to know
The approved conditional use permit was required to allow Lexury Tattoos to operate in an existing leased space within an area zoned as a general commercial district, located along Broadway Street, east of Longwood Drive and west of Shauntel Street, city documents show.
Founded by tattoo artist Alexa Loch and her business partner Wade Ni, the studio will operate by appointment rather than follow the traditional tattoo shop model of walk-in customers and higher client volume, according to city documents.
