In May, Austin Water completed its project to upgrade wastewater lines in the Barrington Oaks neighborhood to improve capacity. The work had affected Danwood Drive from Kapok Lane to Barrington Way and Barrington from Danwood to Pilgrims Place and included new paving. 2. MoPac frontage roads repaving
The Texas Department of Transportation began in May a project to resurface the MoPac frontage roads from Parmer Lane to Waters Park Road. Timeline: May-August Cost: $787,600 Funding sources: TxDOT
3. US 183 frontage road resurfacing
On May 9, TxDOT began resurfacing the frontage roads of US 183 from Anderson Mill Road to Spicewood Springs Road/McNeil Drive. Timeline: May-August Cost: $1.5 million Funding sources: TxDOT
4. I-35 repaving
TxDOT will resurface the I-35 main lanes from Wells Branch Parkway to Rundberg Lane. The project will be bid upon in November. Timeline: TBD Cost: estimated $4 million Funding sources: TxDOT
