National Tequila Day returns July 24, and with the weekend weather forecast calling for plenty of sun and temperatures well into the 90s, the unofficial holiday is an excuse to get out onto Austin’s plentiful patios and enjoy palomas, margaritas and other tequila drinks.
There are several bars and restaurants around the Austin area that hold tequila in high regard, both on July 24 and year-round. Here are places to check out this weekend for National Tequila Day.
Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater
The Moody Theater is hosting the Austin Taco and Margarita Festival this July 24. Tickets include admission into the event, where food and drink vendors will sell margaritas and tequila shots while several bands entertain. Tickets to the event start at $15.
