Haywire opened its fifth Texas location in North Austin’s Domain Northside this March.
In a nutshell
The restaurant opened its first location in 2017 and has since expanded across Texas with locations in Plano, Uptown Dallas, Houston’s Memorial City, and San Antonio.
The Domain Northside restaurant will be Haywire’s fifth location.
On the menu
The restaurant offers a menu filled with farm-to-table appetizers, entrees and desserts including dishes which pay homage to different parts of Texas.
“Lump Crab honors the Texas Gulf Coast, while the 33-ounce Tomahawk ribeye pays homage to East Texas ranchers,” a news release stated.
In addition to food, customers can enjoy bar options from cocktails and old fashioneds to sparkling and rosé wines.

What’s special about it?
The new location offers a variety of private dining spaces for a range of settings from intimate gatherings to large celebrations.
Diners can find The Michener Room, named after author James Michener, exclusively at the Austin location. The room is a “hidden speakeasy-style space with a boardroom-meets-whiskey-lounge vibe,” the news release states.
“Austin has a deep appreciation for great food and a good time, which makes it the perfect home for Haywire,” CEO of FB Society Jack Gibbons said. “We’ve created a restaurant that captures the spirit of Texas—big, welcoming, and built for gathering. Whether you’re here for a hand-cut steak, a rare whiskey, or just a laid-back night with friends, we want it to be a place where people can relax and enjoy themselves.”
