Beginning March 23, CommUnityCare Health Centers will temporarily shutter seven of its clinics across the Austin area.
Central Health, the health care district that serves Travis County and funds CommUnityCare, announced the move in a March 20 news release.
Health care services will be suspended at Austin OB/GYN Manor, Austin OB/GYN Riverside, Carousel Pediatrics in Round Rock, Del Valle Health Center, Dove Springs Integral Care, Hornsby Bend Health Center and Manor Health Center, according to Central Health.
In its statement, Central Health said the moves consolidate services to better serve the greater Travis County community during the current outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
