For the second year in a row, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is hosting a fundraiser that will help save the lives of hundreds of cats.
Through the shelter’s Kit10 Fundraiser, participants will be given the opportunity to name adoptable cats in the WCRAS system. In order to name a cat, participants must donate at least $10 or more.
According to the shelter, residents can donate and name as many cats as many times as they wish. The fundraising event runs through July 2.
“Now is the perfect time to let your creativity shine while helping a great cause,” said April Peiffer, WCRAS community programs director, in a June 28 news release. “The names you provide will be added to the kitten-naming registry with your donation. Participants can then watch wilcopets.org to see an adoptable kitten with the name of their choosing.”
