Precious Chinese BBQ

The fast-casual Cantonese restaurant features a signature specialty known as siu mei, or Hong Kong barbecue. Meats such as duck pork are seasoned with spices and “meticulously” roasted, according to the company’s website.

Duff's Famous Wings

The chicken wing chain, based out of Buffalo, New York, opened a location down the road from Lakeline Mall, in the same shopping center as Interstellar BBQ. Duff’s offers both traditional and boneless wings, which come with a variety of buffalo and specialty sauces.

Burlington

Burlington opened a new location in The Shops at Arbor Walk this month. The store sells discounted retail items, including clothing, footwear, beauty products, accessories, toys, home decor and more.

Crunch Fitness

Ramen Del Barrio

The Michelin-recognized restaurant specializes in Japanese and Mexican fusion, offering ramen with classic flavors from the two cuisines. The restaurant has been on a hiatus since it had to relocate due to the closing of Hana World Market in 2025, the Asian grocery store where Ramen Del Barrio first opened.

Brews and Paws

The 1.6-acre dog park offers food, drinks and co-working cabanas with air conditioning. Brews and Paws has a full-service bar, kitchen and shade, as well as a splash pad, ice baths and water stations for dogs to cool off.

Halftime Sports Bar & Grill

The sports bar, owned by Jeremy Tracy and Ramon Kreher, opened at Lakeline Mall in Cedar Park. The menu includes an assortment of salads, burgers, pizza and wings. The menu also boasts the Gridiron Pizza, a 34-by-48-inch rectangular pizza for $119.

Longines

The Swiss luxury watch store opened on Rock Rose Avenue, across the street from Flower Child. Customers will find a variety of timepieces for men and women. The store also provides maintenance services, such as restorations or strap replacements.

Miniso

Miniso is now open within the Gateway Shopping Center in Northwest Austin. The store offers affordable household goods, plushies, toys, blind boxes, cosmetics, snacks, stationery and electronics. The China-based company has thousands of locations across the globe and hundreds within the U.S.

Baldinucci Pizza Romana

The authentic Roman and New York pizza restaurant is now open at Domain Northside.. The Baldinucci menu is stocked with vegetarian, meat and vegan pizza, including Bianco Florentine, made with hand whipped ricotta, organic spinach, mozzarella and organic broccoli florets.

The beauty company is launching its second Austin location, bringing light therapy, microneedling, botox and more to The Domain. Skin Pharm has 16 clinics across the country, providing medical-grade cosmetic dermatology to clients, according to a representative from the business.

Austin STEM Center

The nonprofit launched its new facility featuring professional makerspaces and fabrication shop. Austin STEM Center offers programs for students and families, including field trips, camps and after-school STEM clubs. Urban Egg

Urban Egg will soon expand breakfast and lunch offerings in North Austin starting this fall. The restaurant will serve up menu items like omelets, sandwiches and pancakes with a projected opening in October, according to the company’s marketing team.

Petrol Lounge

Asmbly Makerspace, a local creative community, is celebrating five years of operations. The space serves as Austin’s largest nonprofit makerspace, according to Asmbly’s website, offering access to a woodshop, metal shop, lasers, textiles, 3D printing, ceramics studio and electronics lab.

Lone Star Circle of Care

Lone Star Circle of Care has now brought mobile mammography services to communities across Central Texas for five years. The Big Pink Bus launched in July 2021, increasing access to breast cancer screening in the region, according to a news release.

Happy Chicks

The chicken restaurant closed one of its three Austin locations in mid-June, according to Joshua Bergmark, director of operations management at Happy Chicks. The restaurant offered scratch-made sides, sauces, chicken and vegan options.
