Indoor National

The private indoor golf club is now open offering 24/7 access to members and guests, according to its social media. The business is self-service with a practice putting green and two Trackman iO simulator bays. Members can also bring their own food and drinks.

The restaurant recently opened at The Shops at Arbor Walk offering all-you-can-eat hot pot and sushi. Patrons can choose from a variety of broths, protein, noodles and veggies to add to their hot pot. Guests will also find a range of sushi, including rolls, nigiri and sashimi.

The food truck specializing in halal smash burgers, recently opened outside of Q2 Stadium. The menu features a variety of smash burgers, traditional burgers and hot dogs. Customers will also find street tacos, fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, churros and milkshakes.

Austin’s newest Japanese lifestyle shop, owned by Fiona and Michael Hu, is now stocked with blind boxes, anime, plush toys, snacks, drinks, skincare items and household goods. Shoppers can find brands like Pokémon, Smiski and Sanrio merchandise.

Tacolada

Tacolada officially launched in Northwest Austin late last month, offering San Diego-style Mexican cuisine, according to owner Tony Farmand. Diners can select from a range of burritos, baja fish tacos, rolled tacos, quesadillas and loaded fries.

A new emergency center is now open, treating injuries, sudden illness, chest pain, allergic reactions and more, according to its social media. The center is staffed with board-certified ER Physicians, offers insurance and self-pay and has an in-house lab and imaging center.

A Texas-based restaurant serving bites and brews, has debuted its seventh Austin location in Domain Northside. While the menu varies based on location, some highlights include sliders, fried pickles, smash burgers, tacos, salads and specialty pizzas.

The new martial arts academy opened to students in early June—according to its Instagram—offering Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Muay Thai, kickboxing and self defense classes for students ages three and older. The business also offers adult beginner, advanced and pro students.

ARA Diagnostic Imaging Riata

The imaging center opened on June 15, according to Julia Austin, senior creative strategist at ARA Diagnostic Imaging. The imaging center offers a range of services including MRIs, CT scans, mammography and ultrasounds.

Ramen del Barrio

The Japanese-Mexican ramen restaurant is making its return to Northwest Austin in July, according to the business’ Instagram. Ramen del Barrio temporarily closed in late 2025 when Hana World Market shut down, but will soon be back to serving dishes like carnitas tacos and bluefin tostadas.

The owner behind Yuki Handroll Bar is opening up a new authentic Korean restaurant. DUBU will have a mixture of Korean and Japanese-style dishes, but will primarily highlight owner Hyo Lim’s experience with Korean cooking.

Peace Family Housing Project

Peace Lutheran Church, along with nonprofit partners HomeAid Austin and Foundation for the Homeless, are building a transitional housing facility for families. The project will include four apartments, which can house a maximum of six families at a time for a 30-90 day stay.

Noel Grisham Middle School

Grisham MS Athletic Field and Field House will be renovated next year to convert an existing practice field to artificial turf. Additionally, a new field house will be constructed with restrooms and a storage room. The project is estimated to start in early April 2027 and cost nearly $2 million.

CareNow will renovate an existing 2,698-square-foot building to open a new urgent care in Tech Ridge. Construction on the $1 million project is slated to begin in August and wrap up in late November. CareNow treats infections, allergies, fractures, skin conditions and more.

Alma Esthetics

Alma Esthetics, a medical spa and aesthetics clinic, announced plans to relocate within Northwest Austin this summer. The business will move to its new location on Anderson Mill Road on June 13 and open to customers on June 17th, according to owner Emily Rocha.

Domain Farmers Market

Domain Farmers Market will officially close down its weekly operations on June 28, according to market manager Emylee Boone. The farmers market opened at The Domain in 2023, bringing 45 vendors to the shopping plaza each Sunday from noon-4 p.m.

H-E-B announced its plans to close its Spicewood Springs location effective July 31, according to a news release from May 20. The closure reflects the company’s long-term growth strategy, the release states.
