Evening lane closures will begin July 22 on Guadalupe Street between University Drive and San Antonio Street in San Marcos as part of the Texas Department of Transportation’s annual road maintenance program. According to a July 19 city press release, the TxDOT project will lead to closures on southbound lanes on Guadalupe Street—or Loop 82—between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Parking within one block of construction will not be allowed during active road work. Construction is currently expected to take 30 days.
