Jenan Blank has been named the new Spring Klein Chamber of Commerce president and CEO, effective Feb. 20, the chamber announced in a news release. Blank is replacing former President Brooks Williams, who resigned from the position Feb. 13.

"The former president had his own business while still the president," Blank said in an email. "He came to the conclusion to follow other endeavors at this time. We wish him the best."

Blank has served with the chamber for five years, previously serving as executive vice president.

"My vision could not be stated any better than our mission statement," she said. "To be a strong voice; to provide leadership in the community; and to encourage a progressive business environment through networking, promoting educational programs, tourism, and lobbying on behalf of our partners and community."
