What we reported: Buy the Glass Bar & Lounge opened in October and offers an atmosphere of listening to records—with or without headphones—while enjoying a glass of wine. The lounge offers free Wi-Fi and semiprivate rooms for get-togethers.

The latest: The lounge has partnered with Cape Cod Cafe and Italian Cafe to allow in-house food deliveries. Drink pairings will be offered to complement the food. Buy the Glass has noticed that more groups are coming to “disconnect from the screen and connect to each other,” co-owner Eddie Robinson said.

What’s next: The lounge begins to feature live music in January. It will also be getting a tap for local
craft beers.
