Hemingway Restaurant & Bar in Cedar Park closed June 16, owner Duke Correa announced June 20.

In a message posted to the eatery's Facebook page, Correa addressed the restaurant's patrons and fans and responded to comments.

"We regret to inform you that Hemingway Restaurant & Bar has closed. You all have been wonderful guests and friends and it's been our honor to be a small part of your life," the post reads.

The restaurant, which served American food such as ribs, chicken fried steak, burgers and more, opened in February 2012 at 500 Cypress Creek Road, Ste. 170, Cedar Park.

"We were very grateful to be a part of this community," Correa said.
