Montgomery County commissioners unanimously approved the purchase of 3.65 acres of land in the East Montgomery County Industrial Park on Jan. 28 for a new Precinct 4 warehouse.

Approved as part of the Jan. 28 consent agenda, the item authorized the purchase of 3.65 acres from the East Montgomery County Improvement District for approximately $248,501. According to contract documents, the land will be used to construct a 10,000-square-foot warehouse, which would be used for Precinct 4 operations.
The contract was initially brought before commissioners court in November; however final sale of the land was not authorized until the Jan. 28 meeting.
