Multiple community events are being held in New Caney and Porter this weekend, June 5-7. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.
1. Splendora ISD Education Foundation Golf Tournament
The Splendora ISD Education Foundation Golf Tournament is returning to bring business leaders, community partners and education supporters together for a day of golf. The event helps fund student scholarships, innovative classroom programs and educational opportunities.
2. Donut Days Festival
Kick off the summer with a doughnut-themed market featuring live music, a petting zoo, bingo and fresh doughnuts.
3. Tire drop-off
Montgomery County Precinct 4 is hosting a free event for locals to drop off unwanted tires. Participants are allowed to get rid of up to eight tires per person. Drop-offs from commercial businesses will not be accepted. Rims and heavy equipment tires are not allowed. For more information, call 936-597-4444.

4. Tejano Day
