There are several events going on in the New Caney and Porter area throughout January. This list is not comprehensive, and events are subject to change.
New Caney Community Market
Attendees can shop from over 60 local vendors and food trucks. This market is held every first and third Sunday of the month in the Valley Ranch Town Center parking lot.
Steak Night
Join Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4816 for a steak night featuring ribeye and all the fixings.
Steak & BBQ Cook-Off
In addition to barbecue and steak cook-offs, this 39th annual event will also include an Anything Bacon Open competition, a Kids 'Que competition, a cornhole tournament and an awards ceremony.

New Caney ISD Fine Arts
Each of New Caney ISD's high school theatre departments will present musicals in January. West Fork High School will present "Into the Woods," Porter High School will present "Chicago" and New Caney High School will present "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

Rockin’ & Rollin’ 50s Purse Bingo
Attendees can support the Hope Cancer Retreat's mission at this 1950s-themed purse bingo event featuring awards for the best costume and best decorated table. There will be food trucks on-site, and outside foods and drinks are allowed.
