Nepali Soul—a business serving Nepali and Soul Food fusion cuisine—will be opening soon at The Food Zone-Grand Texas, the owner confirmed June 5. The restaurant will be a blend of the owner’s Nepali heritage and his wife’s southern heritage, according to the business’s website.
According to the business’s website, the menu will include:
- Chicken, veggie, lamb and fish masalas, which are stir-fried with spices
- Oxtail over fries
- Shrimp Pakora Bites—spiced fried shrimp and onion
- Mango Lassi—a yogurt-based blended drink
- Gulab Jamun—fried milk dough served with rose syrup
The Food Zone-Grand Texas is home to a variety of restaurants that operate out of repurpose shipping containers.
