A remodel of a Burger King location in Porter is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of this year, a Burger King spokesperson confirmed via email Aug. 28. Construction is tentatively slated to finish by the second quarter of 2027.
What's new
The location—owned by Shoukat Dhanani—will be renovated to match the company’s new “Burger King Sizzle” restaurant design, the spokesperson said. Upgrades under this plan include:
Refreshes of the interior and exterior, such as the addition of digital ordering kiosks
Drive-thru updates
New design elements such as a “King Booth” and “Home of the Whopper Wall”
The 4,770-square-foot restaurant will also receive electrical and heating, ventilation and air conditioning work, according to a June 30 TDLR filing.
