EMCID's Spring 2026 Community Development Grants were awarded to multiple organizations during the May 12 board of directors meeting, according to EMCID's website. Grants of up to $5,000 can be awarded under the program.

EMCID awards grants to nonprofits or government entities semiannually under the district's Community Development Grants program, according to EMCID's website. To apply, a representative for a qualified local organization must fill out an application by March 15 at 5 p.m. and Sept. 15 at 5 p.m.
Applications are reviewed by EMCID's board in April and October, according to the district's website. Requirements for the application include a Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 for non-governmental entities.
