From Juneteenth concerts to a fish fry, there are several events to celebrate Juneteenth across the Greater Houston area. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.
1. Juneteenth Fest 161
Houston Freedman's Town Conservancy is holding Juneteenth Fest 161 to celebrate Black freedom and culture. The event will include dancing, live performances, a talent show, games and food trucks.
2. Juneteenth Kids CraftThe Northwest Branch Library will be hosting a kids' craft event in honor of Juneteenth. Kids can relax and take their time while making a rainbow loom bracelet with the Juneteenth colors. This activity is for kids ages 5-12, and will be held while supplies last.

3. Freedom For All: Juneteenth CelebrationThe Spring Branch Memorial Branch Library is hosting a Juneteenth celebration. The event will feature food, music, crafts, games and historical Juneteenth elements.

4. Juneteenth Fish FryA fish fry will be held along with a viewing of a historic photo collage, "The Ground on Which I Stand." The event will also include free books for kids as well as games and vendor booths.
5. Willis Juneteenth CelebrationThe city of Willis’s Juneteenth Celebration will include live music and performances; activities, such as lawn games; and free food and refreshments, while supplies last. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

6. Juneteenth CelebrationThis fourth annual event celebrates Juneteenth and features live music, entertainment, a variety of food trucks, local vendors, face painting and interactive attractions.
7. Juneteenth Culture FestA celebration honoring Black history, culture and art will be held for Juneteenth at Miller Outdoor Theater. Chanté Moore and MAZE will be performing a live concert at the end of the night. The Anderson Center for the Arts and the 5th Ward Cultural Arts District will present a pop-up art gallery. The event will also feature entertainment from Boom Boom Williams, Donna Franklin and Uncle Funky Larry Jones.

8. Roots & RhythmCelebrate freedom, creativity and culture at this open mic night honoring Juneteenth at Five Central.
9. Juneteenth performanceMrs. Twanda’s Theatre on Wheels will be performing "Juneteenth A to Z" at Levy Park. The workshop will honor the holiday through storytelling. Crafts and activities will be available after the performance. Attendees can park along the north and south park roads. Paid parking is available along Wake Forest Avenue, Eastside Street and in the Kirby Grove Parking garage, which is located at 2925 Richmond, Houston.
