The Texas Department of Transportation recently resumed work on the I-35 turnaround at FM 725 in New Braunfels after months of delay.

Tanya Brown, a spokesperson for TxDOT, said the timeline for completing the project was pushed back due to material acquisition delays.
The northbound to southbound turnaround is open for use, and final asphalt will be poured this summer. The southbound to northbound turnaround is still under construction and closed completely for at least the next two months, Brown said.
