A new survey gives residents the ability to help determine if several key transportation projects proposed in New Braunfels will be awarded regional funding.
Several New Braunfels area road projects are under consideration to receive funding through the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Transportation Improvement Program that will pay for projects over the next four years.
The AAMPO’s “Your Move!” survey offers citizens the opportunity to share feedback about the proposed projects, which will be taken into consideration when funding is allocated.
“New Braunfels has received TIP funding for projects in the past, most recently the Citywide Pedestrian Improvement Project,” said Garry Ford, assistant public works director and city engineer, in a statement. “Input from residents plays a key role in receiving these funds.”
