The Texas Tribune will host a free panel with four members of the Texas Commission on Public School Finance titled “A Conversation on School Finance Reform” on May 4 in Austin. The conversation, moderated by Evan Smith, chief executive officer of The Texas Tribune, will include state Rep. Diego Bernal, D-San Antonio; state Rep. Dan Huberty, R-Houston; Nicole Conley Johnson, Austin ISD chief financial officer; and Dallas education policy advisor Todd Williams. The Texas Tribune and Community Impact Newspaper will collect questions from readers prior to the event.
