April home prices down slightly in New Braunfels

Home prices remained relatively stable in New Braunfels in April, down only slightly in each ZIP code compared to April 2023, according to the latest data from the Four Rivers Association of Realtors.

Home prices were down 5.3% in ZIP code 78130 in April, from $337,995 to $319,990, according to the data. In 78132, prices were down 3.59%, from $529,000 to $510,000.

Homes averaged 89 days on the market in ZIP code 78130 and 84 in ZIP code 78132 in April 2024, down from 93 and 94 days, respectively, in April 2023.

The number of homes sold in each ZIP code was up in April compared to April 2023. There were 177 homes sold in 78130, compared to 170 last year, an increase of 4.1%. In 78132, there were 92 homes sold, up 37.31% compared to the 67 sold last year.

Of the homes sold in April, 92% were below the $500,000 price point in 78130. In 78132, 53% of the homes sold in April were above the $500,000 price point, including 11 that sold for more than $1 million.
