The city of New Braunfels announced that closures and detours will be in place April 2-11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on West San Antonio Street from Hill to South Castell avenues in New Braunfels. The work, which will allow for a fire line installation, is expected to be complete in the planned time frame, weather and other factors permitting. To avoid delays, motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route during the construction period.
