Das Hoop Academy
Kids ages 9-12 will be able to excel their basketball skills at this weeklong training camp.
Little Landa Explorers
From hiking to crawfishing, children ages 3-5 will have the opportunity to explore Landa Park and learn about nature preservation.
Birding 101
Learn about 150 species of birds at Fischer Park. Binoculars will be provided for people ages 6 and up.
iCode Summer Camp 1 - Minecraft
Avid gamers will learn how to create modifications on Minecraft. This gaming camp will enhance creative programming to alter the original game.
Football Camp
Kids ages 6-8 will learn about the basic fundamentals of football. The non-contact camp will teach about throwing, receiving, and running the football.
Masskrugstemmen Bierstein Holding Contest
The traditional beer competition from Germany challenges men and women by holding a liter of beer by the handle, straight out in front of them for as long as they can. The last person still holding his or her beer wins.
Sit & Stitch
The free event welcomes craft lovers to socialize, knit and crochet. Crafters of all levels will learn about different stitching patterns.
Stars and Stripes Half Marathon and 5K/10K
Participants will start and finish at the Stars and Stripes Drive-In. They'll receive tech t-shirts and race-specific finisher's medals, and enjoy outstanding volunteer support. Awards will be given to top performers, and there'll be a post-race celebration.
9th Annual Booty Bash
Texas Renaissance group Call of Booty, a pirate-themed group, will float down the Guadalupe River and listen to the Houston pirate band Pride of Beldam.
July
Live @ Landa: Concert in the Park
Part of their live, free concert series, the annual event will feature music from country singer J. Abram Band for the Fourth of July holiday, followed by the HEB Fireworks Spectacular. Park goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. There will also be food trucks and kids activities supporting the New Braunfels Parks Foundation.
Janet’s Planet Astronaut Academy
Children will learn about STEM and space exploration, train like astronauts and engage with real space technology.
True Crime Time
The monthly discussion session provides true crime junkies case files along with links and suggested readings.
Camp Zephyr Kids Camp
Camp Zephyr is hosting a Kids Camp for completed 3rd-5th graders, offering worship sessions every night alongside fireworks, games and more.
