Comal County announced on Tuesday, March 31, that two more coronavirus patients have recovered from the disease.
Five of the county's 11 patients have recovered so far. Two are still hospitalized outside the county and two more are under self-quarantine in their homes.
Recovery is defined by the CDC as not presenting a fever for 72 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication. There must also be improvement in respiratory symptoms and seven days must pass since symptoms first appeared.
As of March 30, two patients have died from the virus. A New Braunfels man is his 40s and a Canyon Lake man in his 70s both died last Thursday, March 26.
