Two candidates are in the running for the Comal County commissioner Precinct 2 seat. Incumbent Scott Haag ran unopposed during the primary election in March, but Michael Zimmerman has since joined the race as a write-in candidate. Haag is running as a Republican, and, although write-in candidates cannot declare a party on the ballot, Zimmerman said he also identifies as a Republican. With early voting underway and Election Day approaching, Community Impact Newspaper asked each candidate a series of questions.
