Wafflelicious, a new breakfast and lunch restaurant, opened its doors on May 16 at 2188 Hwy. 46, Ste. 109, in New Braunfels.
The backstory
German immigrants David and Franziska Krinniger moved to New Braunfels from Munich seven years ago and wanted to open a space where everyone felt welcome.
The husband and wife duo decided to open a new restaurant that specializes in waffles.
“We were looking for something different,” said owner Franziska Krinniger. “We hope that everybody feels welcome here.”
What's on the menu
The menu offers an eclectic variety of gourmet waffles, sandwiches, salads and specialty coffee.
Plus, Krinniger said that there’s “a little bit” of a German influence on the menu. Specifically, potato waffles with smoked salmon and the apple strudel waffle.
Waffles can be enjoyed all day at Wafflelicious, with styles ranging from breakfast, brunch and lunch options.
They also offer a build-your-own waffle option, where customers can customize a waffle to their exact cravings.
