Bee on Call, a concierge service business, is celebrating its five-year anniversary serving the New Braunfels area.
Shana Bridges started the company and runs the New Braunfels services, while her sister, Deana Bridges, helps operate the Dallas-Fort Worth business.

The inspiration
Before Shana Bridges started the business, she had a sick mother and grandmother who lived two hours away, whom she did not know how to help. She said she wished she had services that could have helped her take care of her family at that time.
"I started the business because I have just a heart to help," Shana Bridges said.
Shana Bridges said she particularly enjoys helping older adults in the area.
"I think that's where my heart is," she said. "There are so many seniors that just need help, and kids are busy or may not live in their area, and so I'm just very proud and feel blessed to be able to help seniors in our area that need help."
