Chrissy Lenart began teaching private dance lessons from her garage when she moved to New Braunfels—now she has a brick-and-mortar.
Rize Above Dance Company, located at 5323 FM 1044, Bldg. 3, opened in the beginning of June.
“I saw a need for something different in New Braunfels,” Lenart said.
What they offer
The dance studio prepares dancers for collegiate dance programs and offers dance lessons for ages 2 ½ to 18. Rize Above Dance Company also focuses on enhancing the skills of every dancer at any level, Lenart said.
“It’s a competition studio,” she said. “We have a different outlook on dance around here.”
Aside from classes, Lenart also plans to have a competition team.
