A family-owned cafe is opening a second location within the Mayfair community this fall.
San Marcos-based Ollie's Market is opening its second area location in New Braunfels within Midtown Mayfair, according to a news release. Midtown Mayfair is the master-planned community's recreation and retail hub.
The details
Ollie's Market was founded by locals Natalie and Eli Zablosky, who opened their first location in San Marcos in August 2025. The Zabloskys said they have built their business on the belief that communities deserve access to clean, unprocessed food. The husband-and-wife duo works directly with local farmers and regional producers to craft their food and beverages.
"Ollie's Market has always been an extension of how we eat at home," Natalie Zablosky said in the release. "It started as a way to bring what I was raised with in San Marcos back into the community food scene. New Braunfels feels like a natural next step—a community that shares the same values we built this market on."
What’s on the menu
The new location's menu will feature baked bread and pastries, baked in-house daily. Ollie's Market will have a fresh deli grab-and-go selection as well as made-to-order salads and smash burgers. The Mayfair location will also have a selection of espresso and matcha beverages and feature beer, wine and mixed drinks. Menus will rotate seasonally and will be crafted with the same locally sourced ingredients patrons see at the San Marcos location, according to the release.
What they're saying
Thad Rutherford, CEO and president of Southstar, said Ollie's Market represents the type of "locally rooted" business they envisioned for Midtown Mayfair.
“Their commitment to local relationships, seasonal food and authentic community aligns perfectly with Mayfair's vision. As Midtown Mayfair comes to life, we're creating meaningful places where homeowners and visitors alike can gather and connect over delicious food and drinks," Rutherford said in the release.
