A locally owned specialty food shop in New Braunfels is celebrating a decade of serving the local area this winter.

The Gruene Olive Tasting Room at 1641 Hunter Road is owned by Jill Hall. Hall said the shop will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary Dec. 6.
What they offer
The Gruene Olive Tasting Room sells a wide selection of olive oils, vinegars and balsamic dressings, all of which can be tasted in-store for free. Flavors ranging from blood orange olive oil to espresso balsamic vinegar make up the spectrum of options on the shelf.
The store also offers various organic, internationally-sourced pastas, bread mixes and dipping sauces, along with gourmet chocolates and cooking spices.
