A new Japanese restaurant is set to open soon in New Braunfels.

Owner Mel Cowsert said that she’s planning to open Gong Cafe to the public on Sept. 6.
It’s located at 111 South Union Ave., Ste. 123.
Main course
The new eatery will offer a diverse and authentic sushi menu, complete with special rolls, bento boxes and more, Cowsert said.
Additionally, the menu includes a full Hibachi dinner selection, seafood entrees and custom ramen bowls.
Cowsert said she also owns T Bento Hibachi Sushi Bar, located off of Hwy. 46 in New Braunfels.
