A downtown New Braunfels boutique is celebrating a big milestone in October with an anniversary celebration.

The Dancing Pony Boutique has seen a lot of change since opening at 249 W. San Antonio St. back in 2005. Owners Regina Daggett and Jan Manley said they both worked at the shop for several years prior to taking ownership of the business in 2014.
Since then, there’s been a lot of growth in the area, particularly downtown, Daggett said.
“It’s just grown so much, and there’s been a lot of boutiques opening around us,” she said. “But we have an awesome community and awesome customers.”
On Oct. 3 from 5-8 p.m., the Dancing Pony Boutique will hold an anniversary party with live music, food and more to commemorate the shop’s 20th year in business.
What’s special about it?
Daggett said the boutique is unique because they offer a “huge” selection of shoes, apparel and jewelry, along with a plethora of home goods.
“We’ve also added a smaller section for men’s clothing and apparel,” Daggett said.
The boutique also has a hidden area in the back of the store called the Pony Pub where Daggett said football is on every Sunday.
