A coworking space is opening this spring in downtown New Braunfels.
The gist
The Archive Work Club—locally owned by husband and wife duo Brett and Whitney Davidson—is expected to debut in late April. The coworking space will be located at 210 Mill St., inside an 1845 Fachwerk building, Brett Davidson told Community Impact.
Fachwerk is a type of German architecture which early Texas settlers used to construct homes in New Braunfels, Davidson said.
The new space will be a members-only work club designed for professionals, entrepreneurs and artists. As an architect, Davidson said he felt obligated to create a space that is inspiring to be inside of.
"We're creating this sort of elevated boutique space for work," Davidson said. "The goal is to help uplift and make the downtown community stronger."
The Archive Work Club will have an array of amenities for members, like a private conference room, along with phone booths, coffee and Wi-Fi, Davidson said. The space will also be available for events, mixers and networking.
"This will be a third space that isn't just dedicated to working," Davidson said.
