The Bulverde-based gun shop and gunsmithing store Armed in America Firearms opened a second location in New Braunfels. Owner Mat Cockrell said the shop buys, sells and trades guns as well as offers consignments, gunsmithing, custom rifles and more.
Betty Lou Coffee Co./The Weighted PlateBetty Lou Coffee Co. and The Weighted Plate opened a joint location in New Braunfels. Betty Lou serves coffee during the day, while The Weighted Plate takes over in the evenings with cocktails.

Lost and FoundLost and Found, a locally-owned rooftop bar in downtown New Braunfels, is now open. The two story bar, owned by country singer Randy Rogers, offers craft cocktails and an upscale bar food menu.

Pass the ChickenPass the Chicken, a food truck serving soul food, is now open in New Braunfels. Owned by Tommy Wilbourne, the menu features fried catfish and chicken tenders, wings and tilapia, including mac and cheese, potato salad and banana pudding.

Saltgrass Steak House has officially opened in New Braunfels. The restaurant serves steaks, chicken, seafood and more. In addition to its main offerings, Saltgrass provides catering services, family-style meals and features a full bar.

Round Table Pizza, a California-based pizza chain, is now open in New Braunfels. The pizza place serves a variety of “West Coast-style” pizza, as well as wings, salads and breadsticks.
Starpath Consulting
Starpath Consulting, a company focused on improving teamwork and communication, is officially operational in New Braunfels. Founded by Carolyn Babb, the business helps local teams work together more effectively through specialized programs, she said.
PizzaFornoPizzaForno, a pizza vending machine, is now operating 24/7 in Gruene. The Canadian-based company serves pizzas in under three minutes through an automated oven.
