The Yard-McKinney is expected to open by the end of December or the beginning of January in the former home of Cafe Malage at 107 S. Church St., McKinney. The menu will feature ancho chile roasted pork quesadillas, smoked brisket tacos and smoked meatloaf. The 2,500-square-foot restaurant sits on 3/4 of an acre, and the restaurant owners hope to utilize the backyard area to include seating, lighting, outdoor games, fire pits and lounge chairs.
